Once again, Gallagher embraced its Irish heritage and marched in the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade. For once, the weather was bright and sunny, with warm spring-like temperatures.
Armed with Gallagher-branded cups to hand out, employees, family, and friends all took to the streets to celebrate the festivities.

Gallagher participated in the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade once again this year and had a blast!
Though the weather was wet and dreary, there was no shortage of fun. Many employees brought their families along to march in the parade and show off their Gallagher pride!

Gallagher was once again a Green Level Sponsor of the parade, which has been named the second biggest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the entire country.

The parade takes place tomorrow, Saturday March 15, in downtown Pittsburgh the Strip District.
The day starts with mass at St. Patrick’s Church in the Strip District at 8 a.m., followed by a welcoming ceremony for the official delegation from Ireland at 9 a.m. The big parade will begin at 10 a.m. and feature 23,000 participants, including 200 marching units and 18 marching bands.
The Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the second largest in the United States! In 2012, the parade had over 350,000 spectators. It is organized by the city’s unique Irish community in an effort to put on a family-oriented event dedicated to the patron saint of Ireland.
