The buses at the 96.1 KISS FM Stuff-A-Bus event got a little bit fuller on Wednesday when the Gallagher Home Health Services crew showed up to drop off their toy collection. During the Gallagher-sponsored power hour between 5 to 6 p.m. on December 4, the event received 154 toy donations, many of which were donated by Gallagher Home Health Services. Overall, the event stuffed nine more buses than last year for a total of 42.
Through generous staff member contributions, Gallagher was able to load up four of its company cars with toys. They were delivered in true Gallagher style, rolling right up to the buses with many employees there to help unload. Among the items collected were bikes, dolls, stuffed animals, board games and even two Lite-Brites.
The 96.1 KISS FM staff was pleasantly surprised to see such support for their annual event. Owner and president of Gallagher, Diane Karcz, had the opportunity to speak live on the air with station DJ Tall Cathy:
Most importantly, Gallagher Home Health Services will match all 154 toys collected during its power hour with a monetary donation to Toys for Tots. If you missed the chance to donate during the event, Gallagher will be collecting and matching donations on its own until Friday, December 20. Simply drop off your new and unwrapped toys at either Gallagher Home Health Services location, or contact us for an alternative arrangement. Items will then be given directly to the Toys for Tots charity. Gallagher offers a gracious thank you to all who have contributed so far and hopes to double its donations for next year.
