How did you get involved with Gallagher?
A client I used to have switched over to Gallagher, so I ended up following them over and stayed. Gallagher is a nice company to work for.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a nurse. I have always been a natural caregiver, and my mother was a nurse. My family is made of nurses and cops!

Where did you go to school? What did you study?
I attended Langley High School. I went to CCAC to get my CNA.

What’s your favorite part of working at Gallagher?
Gallagher has given me better structure and the ability to make my own schedule. The flexible schedule allows me to be a full time mom while also working full time. I have four biological children and two adopted, so I keep busy! My oldest is at Slippery Rock University studying Environmental Science and my youngest is eight. My husband is named Demetrius.

 Previous work history?
I worked for a variety of home health agencies during my career. I also ran a youth program for 10 years to assist at risk youths and their families.

What do you do in your spare time?
Sleep, when I can! Other than that, my kids keep me busy with their sporting events like basketball and wrestling. I’m a mom – when I’m not working, I’m always with my kids.

What’s your favorite color, band, movie, and TV show?
Red, Mary J. Blidge, “A Christmas Story,” “Investigations Discovery”

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Fish – tilapia specifically.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I would like to be working on opening an independent living facility, or at least in the starting process. My youngest child is 8, so in five years he will be older and hopefully I will have more time to dedicate to it.

If you were suddenly made president of the world, what would your first change be?
I would stop sending soldiers out of the country where they aren’t needed. My nephew is a Marine and it would be nice to have him stationed in the country.

What three items would you take with you on a desert island?
Food, water, and shade.
